Target group:

Existing ArtemiS SUITE customers who have a basic understanding of structural analysis, or those new to ArtemiS SUITE but not new to structural analysis.


Prerequisite:

Introduction to ArtemiS SUITE or similar; previous familiarity with structural analysis, especially impact testing.


Seminar Objectives:

Modal Analysis is done with HEAD acoustics!  This 1-day course provides the basics of performing modal analysis via the family of structural analysis modules in ArtemiS SUITE (ASM40, 41, 42, 43).  After a very brief review of theory (1 hour), the course focuses on data acquisition for modal analysis using the Impact Measurement workflow, curve fitting, and shape investigation.  The mode shape comparison feature and the Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) and Time Domain Animation Project will also be reviewed.

Hands-on testing and data examples will also be available.

    • Roving Impact hammer method
    • Roving sensor method
    • Structure / Measurement Point Library
    • Analyze / curve fitting
  • Shape Comparison Table
  • Time Domain Analysis / ODS

Remarks:

Training material is provided in print and as pdf on a USB stick. Notebooks and front ends are available for all participants.

Available at your location for 4 registrations or more.
